Is a new kitchen one of your New Year’s Resolutions for 2014?

After perusing the internet, I have discovered that New Year’s Resolutions haven’t changed much over the years.  Hmmm. What does this say about us?  Even with all our “modern” knowledge and technology, has anything really changed?  We consistently seem to choose the same New Year’s Resolutions year after year.  Luckily,  we break most of them immediately so we don’t have to keep coming up with new ones!  The good news is that every year we get a new chance to keep those resolutions this time!  Here are the most popular:

  1. Eat healthier
  2. Exercise more/lose weight
  3. Drink less alcohol
  4. Learn something new
  5. Volunteer
  6. Quit smoking
  7. Save money
  8. Get organized
  9. Achieve better work/life balance
  10.  Finish the house to-do lists

Pearson’s can help you with a couple of these.  Want to get more organized?  We can build shelves, cubbies, pull outs, spice racks, pot and pan drawers, tons of ideas and options to make your home more functional.

Maybe it’s time to spruce up that dated kitchen or bath.  Want new cabinets?  Replace a dated countertop ?  Adding new hardware is a quick and inexpensive way to give your kitchen a fresh new look.

Ready or not,  here comes 2014!   Here’s to a prosperous and Happy New Year!

College Football is a Religion?

I have friends, well a very few friends, who do not like college football.  Obviously, they are not originally from the South.  They just don’t understand football obsession.  I actually feel sorry for them.  I am sure if I read up on this a little more, there are plenty of studies by sociologists who canContinue Reading

Are Farm Sinks Out?

Noooooooooo! I love these sinks, but it recently occurred to me that what seems so chic and trendy today will look like the Brady Bunch orange countertops in about 10 years.  “Oh, too bad this house has one of those dated farm sinks” might be uttered by a realtor or potential buyer. It makes meContinue Reading
